Lacrosse is not a UIL-sanctioned sport in the state of Texas so all of the growth of our program has come directly from the hard work and financial support of our Bowie Boys Lacrosse (BBLAX) families and local community supporters.

As parents, we feel the burden directly with the cost of dues, lacrosse equipment, travel to tournaments, games, and practices. While we can’t help directly with travel and player equipment, BBLAX would like to help with dues by offering our athletes the opportunity to offset the cost of their dues through BBLAX Player Corporate/Business Sponsorship.

How does the Player Sponsorship offset your athlete’s dues?

Each player has the opportunity to go out into the community, contact businesses, and inquire if they’d like to support BBLAX and them as a player for BBLAX. After the business fills out the Player Corporate Sponsorship Form and sends BBLAX their donation, 50% of their chosen sponsorship level dollars will apply directly to your player’s dues account through our BBLAX Treasurer. The other 50% goes directly to BBLAX to assist with funding field use, equipment, coaching staff, clinics, etc.

Can you get more than one business to sponsor your athlete?

Yes, you can! With each business contributing 50% of their sponsorship level dollars to your player, you could potentially pay off your dues completely.

When should your athlete start seeking business sponsors to offset their dues with the Player Sponsorship option?

Right away! Businesses in the area tend to get team sponsorship requests in August and September. The sooner your athlete can reach out, make a connection, and gain business sponsorship, the better.

Can your personal business sponsor your athlete?

Yes! That’s a great place to start. 50% of your selected sponsorship level will go directly to your athlete’s due paydown.
